Production Update
I want to give everyone an honest update on the first production run of the SBX downpipes.
Material delays were a major factor in the timeline, and unfortunately that part was outside of my control. A lot of manufacturers are dealing with higher material costs, supply issues, and delays getting the raw materials they need.
I completely understand how frustrating it is to wait. I’m waiting too, because my own car is off the road until these are finished.
My welder is also taking a one-week vacation starting today and will be back Friday. I know that adds a little more time, but I am not going to hand these parts off to another welder just to save a few days. Quality control is the most important part of this entire project, and I would rather wait than rush the first production run or change the process midway through.
This is my first production run of an SBX-manufactured part, and I need to make sure it is done right. I know I will never make everyone happy, but I am confident the parts will speak for themselves once they are in your hands.
The good news is that production is now running much more smoothly and consistently. My welder expects to be able to move through them quickly once he returns.
As mentioned before, I am prioritizing the first 25 orders and getting those shipped out first.
Thank you again for your patience and for supporting SBX. I genuinely appreciate everyone who has trusted me with this project, and I’m sorry again for the delays.
