I was going to make a video how to install the downpipe with a blanket on......just remove the two or so top springs and push it down....easy access after that 13mm socket fits fine. (i learned the hard way LOL
Well.. i figured that much out the blanket part.. that wasnt bad. I took the bottom one off for the front pipe and stopped messing with it before i shoved the bolts back in. ill check it out again tomorrow. I was kinda done messin with it for the day anyway.. thanks man!

Yeah glad you don't have any issues with the studs! I just know my luck so I definitely will have it done by a shop.

Can't wait to hear how it sounds and how you like it.

ok.. i just took it for the first drive and its just a bit louder than the fuse pull imo.. trying to ignore the intake, the front sounds like what i think they wanted the fake engine noises to do (i have that unplugged).. I need to drive it more, but initially im not surprised i still want it louder. The sound improvement is great and pretty much what i expected.
It does sound quite a bit better the higher the revs are while driving, but im trying to let everything break in properly and dont wanna over do anything yet.
I may try the fuse pull again to see how that sounds with this setup.

Thank you for the update and just keep in mind if and when you do get hondata you can adjust it so you can leave the flap open or close in different modes plus remember the car often sounds a lot louder outside than it does inside do you feel any difference in driveability

Yeah, i mainly was talking about what i was hearing inside. Outside while just sitting sounds very similar to fuse pull to me. i didnt know about the hondata/valve thing.. im still trying to be patient for getting it tuned lol. it did seem to have a bit more power around 3-4k.. that could just have been placebo :dunno:

I would also definitely let it break in a little bit I'm not sure about how it works but sometimes these things get louder after a couple of heat Cycles.

If anything you could always remove one resonator like the Integra type S because there were videos posted of the stock Integra with this down pipe and it did sound a lot louder.

And yes Honda flash Pro now allows you to set the valve open or closed so if you want you could leave it closed in comfort and then in R plus mode leave it fully open all the time rather than pulling a fuse.
