'23 FL5 10K Miles - Gear Shifting sounds clunky and can feel in passenger floorboard

So my buddy's fl5 started making a mechanical clunk noise shifting in certain gears like 4th for example and when he shifts I can feel the knock/noise in the passenger floorboard.

Does any know what this could possibly be? Shift fork, syncro, low fluid?

He drives the car like a bat outta hell let me tell you that lol. He shifts high rpm and dumps the clutch lol makes me feel like he was trying to break his axles lol.. That's his driving style to give you insight into wear/tear. I told him it's under warranty just bring it in but maybe one you guys can pinpoint.

Probably a worn synchro or shift fork, but could be a lot of things.

First thing should be do a oil analysis to discard synchros or other internal damage, if he dump the clutch maybe the rear motor mount is broken.

Thanks for the info everyone, he made an appt at Honda.

I told him it's under warranty but regardless to keep his mouth shut and play dumb hahaha =)

I believe he damaged both driver and passenger axles and messed up his car pretty bad since he drove it at high speeds like that before getting it into the dealer.

It's currently still at Honda waiting to get repaired.

Spoke with my buddy who is the svc advisor over there today and waiting for an update.

Are you in the same boat? If so, have them check your CV joints and axles.

I told him once his car is fixed to upgrade to the HASPORT 60A motor mounts becuase he likes that draggy driving style lol
