When did they make that change? The 2025 gets 1 year of maintenance. The 2023 and 2024 got the 2 years of maintenance.
Good thought process, I was still saving up for a CTR at the time lolThat was one of the two changes made for the MY2025. That and the price increase of $800.Itās why I went ahead and got the MY2024 instead of waiting a month for the MY2025.
I second this ... I haven't looked for a decent independent shop, but the dealer scratched my wheels doing a tire change (they had the tire in stock and were the best price, interestingly), and I found a shop rag in my intake (I'm not sure if/when I'll take them up on their free oil change). I planned to do my own regular maintenance anyways after, unless something breaks...To answer your question I really donāt know. However, if you could avoid taking the car to a dealer for routine maintenance by an underpaid inexperienced lube tech who couldnāt care less about your car, that would probably be best.
this car is very easy to work on. Either go to an independent shop you trust or just do it yourself
If Honda service pass would just let me get the oil and filters for free I'd do it myself. The dealer left my skid plate with one bolt missing and the other 3 loose. Worse still, they overfilled the level and claimed "it's impossible for us to overfill since we have it metered!", making the assumption that a car is magically fully drained and there's not excess oil when you drain it.I second this ... It's odd that nothing on the Honda website mentions Honda Service Pass. It only mentioned Honda Care, which is a prepaid plan. My dealer where I purchased my car didn't mention it either. I did however, found it on a dealer website on the subject. All new Hondas in the US come with 2 years of oil changes (Honda service pass)
Agreed. However, I may need to bring my car back for warranty work in the future...hopefully NOT. Mind as well use this opportunity to test their competency or if I need to look elsewhere.I second this ...
