So I just checked, the base MSRP on a '22 Raptor was ~$70,000. Currently used ones (Specifically the RAPTOR trim) with low milage are going for well over $100k. I saw one for less and it was "pending sale."
I havent checked in a hot minute, but for a bit there Bronco Raptor ADMs were gonna be well over 30k. People were looking at close to double MSRP. So some of the forums literally had to ban threads on it because it's all anyone discussed.
Or, for real nightmare fuel, check out the Bronco Raptor forums where they had to ban talk of ADMs for a bit (dont know if they still do).
Whenever you think about these things, like all car companies, remember that the leadership is often VERY out of touch with modern tracking/consumers. So, a...
Starting to think my dealer was bang on right when he said they had halted deliveries to make them arrive all at once on the east coast. There's no reason it wouldnt be a steady march across the map if it was just "when it arrives." This has to be planned in some way.
My dealer has been pretty communicative and all he knows is that it's for sure before the end of the month, but other than that he can't give an exact time.
Honda executives probably have no idea how the internet works and are just like "yes, this all makes sense." Meanwhile, everyone's fully tracking the vehicles via VINs and crowdsourcing information.
Yea, it'll arrive just in time for winter for those in the Northeast. And just in time for the mountains to lose their colors for me in GA. No tail of the dragon drives in beautiful fall colors.
I'm going to assume that may be the idea. If everyone gets their cars at once, then it'll cause a big social media pop and interest for Honda. Especially if it's right around the media embargo releases.
My dealer said they are stuck until they can all arrive at once. He said his transit guy still said it'll be here before end of the month, but they are intentionally delaying it to get them all at once to east coast... which seems weird but from what I'm seeing here might be right.
So I spoke with my dealer. They said "the car is stuck in transit because they want all of them to arrive at the same time." I don't know how true that is or not, but it'd make sense why no one on the east coast that we've seen has gotten one. I mentioned it was taking off the tracker and he...
It's always a challenger or charger and they always drive recklessly like idiots. On the plus side, I love them when I'm going down 85, just let them blow past you a bit and you got a nice rabbit for upcoming speedtraps. Works wonders!
285's real danger is the odd Charger/Challenger trying to blow past you then careening into traffic/wall and hopefully not you. I was chillin' in my Miata, stuck in traffic when a dude in a challenger started revving next to me and making gaps, like bro, the average speed is 4, wtf you doin...
Bro, on ATL roads you'd already have a rock chip and bottomed out 3 times on Dekalb Avenue because it's fucking moonscape. I'd say you're doin' pretty well
There is a thread for markups right here. The problem is that everyone who can't afford or doesn't want to pay a markup has to shitpost nonstop about the markups. The majority of the people who are perfectly happy to pay a markup mostly don't care to post about it; two of my friends are paying...
