They didnt lower the MSRP but the presumption would be if it were sold as a 2026 they'd raise the MSRP for the 2026MY. Model year is a pretty arbitrary thing, I just dont see any reason this last batch didn't get "2026" thrown on and Honda raise the MSRP $1000.

Accord is getting a re-design so a delayed 2026 announcement makes sense. Theres no shot theyre doing a Type R re-design just for the US market.

Not sure what you're looking at but it looks word for word the same as the 2025 owners manual. I definitely see plenty of LogR references in the 2026 Hatchback manual as well as "Civic Type R" referenced in the specification section.

The car alone was a hard enough hit to my wallet, call you in a year. 😉

While I tend to agree with you, I do think its still very strange no announcement has been made regarding the MSRP. I can't think of any logical reason to leave it unsaid for so long, the other Civics following the same process (MY and MSRP change only) have been on the ground for months and...
