They didnt lower the MSRP but the presumption would be if it were sold as a 2026 they'd raise the MSRP for the 2026MY. Model year is a pretty arbitrary thing, I just dont see any reason this last batch didn't get "2026" thrown on and Honda raise the MSRP $1000.

Not sure what you're looking at but it looks word for word the same as the 2025 owners manual. I definitely see plenty of LogR references in the 2026 Hatchback manual as well as "Civic Type R" referenced in the specification section.
I would love to have this functionality, not really sure why it doesnt seem to exist. If the car is off theres very little reason not to have the hand brake on.
