Has anyone tried this shift knob, I prefer a ball shift knob but would like the keep it OEM. Any reason this one wouldnt work?

Rolled off the truck last night. So far I absolutely love it, its everything that my GTI wasn't. One thing I dont love is that paint condition, must have sat at port in Japan for awhile, the hood feels like sandpaper. Its all coming off with a clay bar but man its going to take some elbow grease...
Honda automatically pushes In Transit inventory for most dealership websites, not sure exactly what status a car needs to hit to trigger that though. Dealers can of course manually manage it, but few do.

My car arrived to the dealer last night, landed on the 21st so it took a full month. Train from the port to Chicago and then about a week for delivery from the railyard to the dealer.
