If people are on here bitching about 10ths of a second and a couple mph trap speed why are you interested in a fwd car at all? Just buy a golf r, supra or hellcat. Go hit 60 in under 4 seconds and convince yourself there's nobody faster. This car is clearly focused on shaving 10ths of a second...
The FK8 probably has loads more miles on it as well. Honda's tend to be really tight from the factory and really open up 5-10k miles of driving. Just saying. Yes the FK8 is faster from a roll, but a Spoon final drive gear and a Hondata tune will erase all complaints.
Car & Driver hit 60 in 4.9, 1/4 in 13.5 at 106mph. Skidpad pulled 1.02g. Tested on PS4S tires. Car & Driver generally a couple ticks slower than Motor Trend.
Higher interest with half the current adm's is a waaay better deal. If you can get it for 3 or 5k over w slightly higher rates vs 10-15k w current rates. 2 or 3 pct interest increase isnt going to make a 8-12k difference like a lower adm would.
My advice to most would be wait a bit. Many of the dealers I spoke with that said 15-20k a few months ago (Texas), are now offering 10k. Im holding out for around 5k. Just need the economy to go belly up.
$9995 adm to be exact. He really acted like he was killing the competition with that $5 less than Austin dealer offered. With TTL+tax thats like $59k. F that bs. Thats before another probably 3k in finance charges.
Had two TX dealers (First Honda in Austin on CW, Honda of Ft Worth on BB) offer 10k adm. Told em both I'll pass. 5k as high as I'm going. Even that with msrp what it is makes this a steep purchase.
