Regardless, you guys enjoy your Corollas. More Type Rs for the forum. Cool car and I respect its ability, but just cant get past the styling. Plus as a Honda fan, buying a Toyota is like a Ford guy buying a Camaro.
Just wanted to point out that many reviwers didn't like the LE as much as the standard issue FK8. Many felt as though the rear was too stiff and the rear end was unpredictable under hard braking compared to the normal FK8. Id like to see standard FK8 vs GRC as well. Im sure same result, but if...
All my Samsung TVs and appliances are trash, yet anything I have manufactured by Sony is still going strong. Don't be fooled into thinking Korean bulit products are somehow on the same level as anything manufactured in Japan, because they are NOT.
Id take the 3.0 manual, and have looked at it. However, the markups are there as well. Not to mention insurance and the prospect of bmw-esque repairs in 10 years. If it was 10k cheaper I'd be all about it.
Once people in this forum start getting their Type Rs, we need to set a date in the future and all meet up somewhere. Have a massive celebration and then go form a 5 lanes wide Type R rolling blockade on the highway. I'm down!
A car that you can exploit the limits of daily is more fun, a car that communicates with loads of feedback is more fun. Doesn't matter which wheels are being driven. My first car was a 70 Roadrunner. RWD. 335 hp 425 lb ft. It would punish you for the smallest mistake. My GSR swapped 97 EJ was...
C'mon guys. Itd mean the car would be $70-80k at dealerships. Bitching about this is like bitching about taxes and death, they are all inevitable and will not change. Dealers CAN suck it, but they are gonna make sure YOU suck it too
Oh well. Was a joke anyways. Car and Driver doesn't know that though. Fall back will be K20 Fit NA build if the Type R search goes to Hell. Or this beastly build. That sound.... 10:39 for the ballsy bits
Varies by dealer, but none of it means a damn thing until dealers get an allocation of vin numbers THEN you can typically put a deposit down. Basically you just need to contact a bunch of dealers and tell them to call you when they receive their vin allocations.
I'm beginning to think the chatter of this forum has worsened it as well lol. Good banter on here, but we definitely wind each other up with she said she said etc. Then the date passes and it feels like awww f*ck cmon wheres the info?
