Unfortunately, you are in the minority I’d say. It is for emissions and fuel economy. At the end of the day it’s an econobox. Being a bit slower in its 0-60 doesn’t really matter to them, because most people will buy it for reliability and being cheap on fuel. The Si and Type R are a different...
I believe it’s the case of calling it a “Model Year 2023” but it releases 2022. There was a video or press statement from Honda about the new civic hybrids that said something along the lines of “we are looking forward to launching the Civic hybrid and Type R in 2022.” I can’t remember exactly...
I had gone to order a 2021 type r and they said that there were no more new ones available, but that I could put the deposit down and they would convert it into a 2022 type r order once they were able to put in for allocation in their system, which they told me that they did back in April I...
I thought the same thing lol. I think it has to do with how low it looks like it's sitting in the rear. That last picture makes me think it's AWD even though we know it won't be.

It’s direct competitor would probably feel good about beating it, that’s what the whole point of the review is.
It’s still just a Civic, so many people on here act like it’s a shame this isn’t competing with the something like a 3 series. But it should still cost 20k ?... It’s an entry level...
The amount that it is slower is pretty surprising, but people want comfort and features nowadays more than outright speed. Sucks for enthusiasts, but it keeps the cars alive.
Fake vents in the 10th gen were so hideous, that was way worse than any of the styling cues of the new gen imo. The sedan and hatchback aren’t sport versions of the civic, they’re basic utilitarian commuter cars. I’m really surprised so many people are so angry about the car looking like a...
