yes exactly, it worried me because I thought it was somethign in the transmission or lsd, so this high pitched metal on metal squealing sound is somehow related to the wastegate actuator? Why does the sound go away when you're not engine braking, or decellerating in gear off throttle.

Meta can you explain how you did this more? What type of vynil did you use and where did you buy it? I don't get it, is it just a thin sheet of vynil or some sort of block of the stuff? I want to neuter my type R also but I don't understand waht vynil you used.
