I have a track day coming up at the end of this month and my Project Mu's are looking a bit thin. So I just picked up a set of the rebranded Winmax W5 pads that everyone is talking about, along with the titanium shims.

If you're planning to go to the track, I wouldn't add any power mods.
All you need for the track is to flush the brake fluid to a DOT 4 standard (Eg. Castrol SRF, Motul 660, or Endless). I personally run Castrol SRF best bang for your buck.
I always do the pedal dance, to me the car feels the most natural. I also run a staggered tire pressures, usually about +3 PSI rear and the car has plenty of rotation.
I’m actually running 255 35 R19 AO52’s on the OEM wheels and I’m loving it!! I bomb all the curbs at my local tracks with no problems. Also, the tight fitting Advans make the steering input more reactive as well.

Here's a quick clip of my PB at Sebring this past weekend, I was able to put together a decent lap on my fifth session.
For context it was 90+ degree weather all day but I was able to do 6 full 20 min sessions without any hiccups, the car was perfect all day!
