  1. Limp Mode on first track day

For sure it's cause of low fuel, happened to me as well. I went out with a quarter tank and the car did not like that. Buy yourself a cheap scan tool, so you can clear the code next time it happens.
  2. Club-Version FL5 Civic Type R Build Thread

Picked up some creature comfort items for the interior... I'm always banging my leg into the steering wheel getting in and out of the car so I decided to scoop up a spoon wheel setup which is slightly smaller in diameter. Hopefully it will help and provide better feedback while on track.

Lol I’ll support and buy a shirt.
  4. Club-Version FL5 Civic Type R Build Thread

Hey everyone! I've been debating making one of these build threads for a while now, and I suppose now that the car has seen some solid track time and will be modified further I can justify wasting more time on this forum than I already do. Current Mod List (6-1-26) Brakes Castrol SRF Brake...

I’m using the same brake and fluid combo. The light is normal I get it all the time, it stays on the entire session for me. Also, you’re correct about the brake judder it is the compound material build up on the rotor. It goes away after of a couple of laps.

Hi there, I'm now using the Advan A052's in 255 35 R19, the OEM tires were horrible! BTW I went down in width to keep the radius as close as possible to OEM given there's not many 265 30's out in the market.

Yes, it is more of a safety precaution than anything else. You won't really feel any difference on your first outing since you will be learning the car.

    Your welcome
  14. 255 35 R19 Yokohama Advan A052 (OEM Wheels and Height)

A little preface; after 4 track days on the factory tires I had enough of the lack luster performance, especially after swapping in more aggressive track pads. So I decided to go searching for a 200TW tire in the OEM size, unfortunately there aren't many options out there. So I had to do a...

  16. Should you buy a Garmin Catalyst?

Need to get me one! I'm still using the trusty old AIM Solo.
  17. *The FL5 Track Junkie Thread*

lol I disable VSA through the pedal dance method and it really helps with the life of the pads.

Thank you! I know I still need a lot to improve upon, but I’m so happy how reliable and easy the car is to drive at the limit! 4 tracks days done and Im still completely stock. I did run through the OEM pads on my last event, good thing I had new pads with me in my toolbox to get me home.
