  1. Ktuner vs Hondata

Everyone will likely prefer the unit that they know and own.... which is why I love my Hondata. Even the base +3 tune with rev hang disabled and increased throttle sensitivity makes the car an absolute joy to drive. The increased power is more than enough for daily driving. And then there...
  2. Official: 2023 Civic Type R To Be Revealed In June

Or rather, who they call first that's willing to pay $10k-$15k over msrp.
  3. Official: 2023 Civic Type R To Be Revealed In June

The dealerships that I deal with won't take deposits. It's essentially first come, first serve. The sales guys will call me and all other interested parties when it gets delivered. However, at that point it becomes a game of "WHO WILL PAY THE HIGHEST PRICE." :(
  4. Official: 2023 Civic Type R To Be Revealed In June

I can't wait to buy this car. I'm not paying 50k for it though, which has to be the going rate since lightly used models are going for high upper 40's on cargurus. Looks like I'll be waiting a few years. Probably gonna take a recession to get this thing at MSRP.
  5. All New Honda Civic Type R Prototype to Make U.S. Debut At Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Dang, I live close by but I'll be in Tennessee for the 4th. Guess I'll have to tell the wife we're cancelling our vaca that week. :headbang:
  6. 10th Gen Eibach Sportline Springs installed on 11th Gen Civic Sport

    It's been 3 weeks....let's see those beautiful 18's! :headbang:
  7. 2022 Crystal Black Pearl Civic EX mods so far

Looks amazing. Would look 100% perfect with a modest 0.8" to 1" drop with the pro kit.
  8. What spoiler is this?

Does the overseas RS trim not come with the factory Si lip spoiler?
  9. What spoiler is this?

More angles please. I definitely like what I see so far!
  10. Kia Forte5 GT

You guessed it! Of course it was from the chip seller. :) Thanks for the accurate numbers and reading material. Can't wait to read it.
  11. Kia Forte5 GT

I test drove a Forte GT (sedan) 6 speed and absolutely loved it. Then I started researching and came across piggyback chips, similar to flashes but less intrusive. The funny thing is the stock 1.6T only dynos around 155whp!!! I always heard Hyundai/Kias are overrated, but wow that's bad. Of...
  12. Hub bore

In theory, could you use wheel spacers if your brand new wheel bores were too small for you car? 10mm maybe? Asking for a friend. :innocent:
  13. Latest Type-R rumor: over 330 HP

After the Si got 5 less hp, you gotta think chances for 330hp are 1 in a million.
  14. Issue using spacers on the sport and touring wheels…???

I have 20 mm spacers on my 10th gen. The old protruding studs definitely dug into the back of my wheels when I torqued em down. I probably should've drilled them out, but oh well, no harm no foul. I've been running like this for 2 years with no other issues besides ugly gashes on the backside...
  15. Transmission fluid change

Yeah, that's odd. I can't remember my code at 30k, but I changed it regardless. Now I'm at 50k and I'm seeing the A13 code, so looks like I'll be doing it again. :headbang:
  16. Video: 2023 Civic Type R's in action @ Honda "Thanks Day" in Japan

I examined the OP's video. The red and white Sport Tourings on warm tires ran lap times of 1:06 and 1:07 respectively. The Type R's ran 1:05's on warm tires. I guess I was expecting a bigger difference.
  17. 2023 Nissan Z

3500 lbs? Kinda porky. Not sure I trust the numbers though... it says 1565mm for height which is over 5 feet tall!!! (61") :hmm:
  18. Official SONIC GRAY 2022+ 11th Gen Civic & Si Thread

Very nice! I just noticed it doesn't have dual exhaust?? I've only seen pictures of the Sport Touring, I guess. That's interesting. And even though it's not the turbo, I'm sure having the manual makes it just as much fun. Enjoy, and thanks for the pics. I'm considering a Sport 6MT Hatch also.
