Thanks for everyone’s responses so far. Definitely gives me some good points to consider. Apparently ruffled a few feathers with that Acura comment. I appreciate the diorama of pictures, haha.
It’s going to sound so superficial, but I don’t like the ITS simply because I think all Acura cars look the same. But I think it’s a great all around car with comfort features too.
I think my FL5 is quite the impressive performance machine. However, as I’ve aged and have service related back pain I’ve come to the conclusion that I may need something with adjustable lumbar and heated seats.
I’m starting to research the BMW m340 and G80 M3. Anyone have personal experience...
What is a competitive build for BS? I’ve got a few auto crosses in after an 18 year break and actually am getting back up to speed nicely. It would be fun to see how fast I could get PAX wise built out to the class limit.
With 100 temps, bumpy lot with lots of gravel, I decided to use individual mode with comfort suspension and TCS fully engaged. Ended up being 2.5 seconds faster than the run with oversteer! Also by far my most restrained run. My tendency is to push too hard, get on the gas too soon!

I rushed putting it on today so it was pretty noisy with some clicking I need to trouble shoot. Seems to do better on a smooth track.
This was +R and long hold of traction control off. I ended up getting my best time with comfort and traction control on. Rough lot that was extra greasy today! Was about 2.5 seconds faster than this run.
For you fast guys, what are some tips for driving the CTR fast? I’m new to FWD. I think at my first event I was being way too aggressive with the gas, and need to be more patient before mashing the gas!
Had a blast! First AutoX with Type R. Very impressed with how easy it changes directions.
My fastest run was 2 seconds quicker, but my GoPro battery died. Forgot to turn it off. So much fun!
Was there something special you did with the gorilla pod? I set mine up like that and the shaking and clicking from the pod and GoPro moving around is horrendous!
Specifically, when I pull for windshield wiper fluid, it seems like I have to hold it down for a while and then I end up with a flood of water on my windshield.
It’s also super weird that it sprays water onto the blade instead of the windshield!
Is my car normal? If it is, anyone else...
