    On my old mk7.5 GTI U had to do some coding to tell the car there’s a new battery on the fl5 it seems like the system sees a change in voltage. Rather from a new battery or charging. And it self adjusts from there. At least that’s what I’ve read on Reddit. I’ve no idea if that’s true tbh

    Same. Till I race an r that’s the only time I’ve noticed it. The second both cars get tuned it’s a non topic tbh since they’d make the same power and all. Just weird how the s has a bump in power and very little if any tq reduction in the first two gears

    Oh gotcha. When I swapped to a q300 cat back. I did get rattles. Around 2500-3k rpm mostly. But I swapped the resonator for a megaphone. No rattles yet. The existing one kinda disappeared? I figured it was just a shitty resonator or unproperly sized?

    Is your intercooler upgraded? If so, it doesn’t matter. If you have enough intercooler it’ll scrub that extra heat easily.

    Colorado winters aren’t too gnarly. Won’t challenge 5 weight any at least. only 0w20 that I know of that can perform like that is vw508 certified oil. It’s a green color too. Crazy stuff. I’m sure there’s a few others but vw508 is the only one I know of.
