Don't give up hope yet. Its one thing to put a deposit. Another entirely to buy the car. I know quite a few people who just have a deposit in and would make the decision when the car arrives. It's not the best of times to buy a car so an opportunity might present for you.

Lucky. In Canada, a 20-21 FK8 low miles is going for roughly 51 to 55k before tax (13%). So all in I'm paying 62k for a used FK8 that someone most likely beat around. FL5 it is.

Umm, 25-35k over? Can you show me this deal of a FK8 please. Where I am, all the used FK8s are more expensive than the FL5 unless high mileage.

Check out this video for the red: I'm leaning towards red. Partly because it looks good and has the wow factor. The main reason is even though champ white is a great colour, I'm tired of neutral coloured cars.

For some reason FK8 owners are all hurt by the fact that FL5 exists. Lol, I don't get why? It's like they are seeking approval or gratification from everyone that FK8 is better. Truly sad. Can't we just be happy that the FL5 exists in this form? With electrification and all that nonsense, this...

That kind of straight line speed at 60 mph+ is insignificant to me. I live in the city, no way going to be going that fast. Rather I'd want a car that's fun driving at slower speeds and is more refined, better tech. FL5 is that.

Watch the review today, he talks about his choice. Hints at it atleast.
