I find the full colour match somewhat cheap looking, like something any other Civic can bolt on. I think the winglets would look good colour matched but the wing in between should be black.

Makes sense. The base Civic and SI definitely felt lower to sit in.

I'm curious. I've seen a few reviews where people have said they feeling they are sitting higher in the FL5 than the FK8. When I sat in the new SI, I felt I was more hunkered down and in the car than the last gen. Is that not the case with the Type R? I've not been able to sit in one yet...

I think bottom line is everyone should not pay insane ADM for anything. This doesn't just plague the Civics. People are just in general willing to toss more money to get something even if it doesn't make sense. Hence why the used market is the way it is. Going to be hard to change the mentality.
