I'm curious. I've seen a few reviews where people have said they feeling they are sitting higher in the FL5 than the FK8. When I sat in the new SI, I felt I was more hunkered down and in the car than the last gen. Is that not the case with the Type R? I've not been able to sit in one yet.

Interested to hear everyone's thoughts.

The seat is adjustable. So you can sit low if you’d like or higher up.

Despite what people may feel, Honda has stated that the hip point has been lowered 8 mm relative to the FK8.

Makes sense. The base Civic and SI definitely felt lower to sit in.
