I like this idea, and I dont have the mirror with me now, but I remember the holes where the screws go in different locations. Worth a shot though. I'm going to report back after trying!

I believe so, the metal tab looks like its in the groove.

Spent the last few hours trying to get this mirror on, and it has to be a defective unit because I can get the original mirror on with a secure fit, but this new mirror will lock in but unlatch if I adjust the viewing angle of the mirror. The clips might just be defective… probably won’t go to...

yea not sure what I’m doing wrong. I can reseat the og mirror correctly and it’s on there nice and tight but the home link mirror just won’t seat correctly. Looks like the mounts are slightly different. Home link mirror has a metal tab that protrudes from the base, maybe that’s what’s preventing...

Anyone have tips on mounting the actual mirror? Every time I think I’ve mounted it correctly it doesn’t seem to be super snug and just a light tug and the mirror comes off.
