Where is the fake sound produced? Does it feed through the speakers or is there a separate device? My old VW had a gizmo mounted to the firewall that was easily unplugged.
Based on C&D Lightning lap times of 2:40.6 and 2:58.8, the CTR is 12% slower than the GT3ā¦.. Choose your measuring stick. The one that matters most to me is driving satisfaction in the real world, and given the realities of public roads for most of us, Iāll take the CTR.
Lots of cars, including the ZLE and our Civics, do just fine with struts up front. The real problem on the GT4 is struts in the rear, which results in not only camber change, which is manageable, but toe change as well. Inexcusable on a $200K GT4 RS, IMO. They get by with it by making it so...
100%. Another aspect to me is the fact that the CTR is fun and engaging to drive at normal speeds, yet doesnāt feel at all out of place on the track. My GT4 doesnāt come alive without risking my license on the road. The jury is still out on operating costsā¦.
Track alignment and brake pads, mild tune, 275 18ā Goodyear 3R. I found time in several places later in the day, but with the afternoon heat I couldnāt beat my earlier lap time. I still have a ways to go to catch up with the carās previous ownerā¦.
Took my CTR to Roebling Road on Friday. I couldnāt hang with the GT3RS or GT4RS, but the rest of the Porsches, Mustangs and Corvettes were all victimsā¦. Itās fun being the underdog. Nobody expects a fwd econobox to be so quick.

Installed the 27won shift knob. I really like the look and feel. I had to fight with the locking collar to pull the boot down, but finally succeeded in releasing the tabs with my $1 Harbor Freight pick set.
