I opted for the Honda MTF. The LSD seems to work so well I didnāt want to mess with the friction characteristics. I had 8000 miles and numerous track days on the original fluid. Might be my imagination but it seems to shift better now.
Iām at about 3.2 degrees in front with pins removed and offset ball joints. Zero front toe. I was pretty pleased with the wear after 115 miles at CMP on this set of stock size CR-S. I have a mild track oriented tune.
I haven't run them on this car before, but I've used them on my ZLE, my GT4, and my M3 in the past. I've also spun the M3 on the outlap, so I'm aware! I figured I'd be OK running them in the summer on tracks in the south.
New track shoes mounted, saving 11 pounds per corner. Stock wheels are heavy! Engine oil, transmission fluid and brake fluid changed. Working on setting up a proper TPMS. Now I need another track day.
Got mine done on Tuesday as a walk-in, without a scheduled appointment. Took about an hour, and the notification cleared in about two days. No detectable change in the steering. Hopefully the last time it has to make an appearance at a dealer..

I set my fast lap at Road Atlanta in my M3 leaving it in 4th from T1 all the way to T7. Sounded and felt slower, but the data said otherwise. I was over slowing to make the extra downshifts. And that car didnāt have turbo torqueā¦.
I noticed that you left it in 4th for turn 8 today. I meant to try that but habit kicked inā¦.
What data system are you using? Iād love to be able to overlay your lap with my Aim data file.
Nice lap Rex. How many hot laps do you run per session at that kind of event? You are killing me in The kink. I lost my āNo Fearā attitude 20 years agoā¦..
I think thatās just blistered paint from heat. What kind of pads? Iāve found some pads conduct a lot more heat to the caliper than others. Thatās why I wonāt use G-loc any more.
It is my understanding that the SRF fluid has been changed several times over the past year, including just before I got the car last month, but I didn't do it so I cant be positive. I've boiled fluid in other cars, and the pedal went away completely. This just got mushy, and I overshot my...
