This car in particular with all the red accents looks so good in black. I was about two months away from buying an ITS when this black one popped up in my area for a great deal. Any other color I would have just waited for the ITS. Love what you're doing to your car and I'll be following closely.
These, or at least something similar, are a must have. My FL5 is my nice weather car and I'm still amazed at how much stuff I find stuck in these things. I bought some rally armor mudflaps early on but am hoping these will keep me from having to use them. So far, so good.
The only aftermarket category I find lacking for the FL5 is exhausts. Not necessarily because of too few options, it's just that I haven't heard any that truly make this car sound good.
Yep I get that. I'm not worried about not being stock anymore, the only reason I'm waiting 2-3 years for mods is because I want the car paid off before I start putting additional money into it. I will never sell this car so I dont care about resale value. I've got a $12000 wish list that keeps...
Yeah I'm sure if I keep it stock for 2-3 years I'll be ready for a much more significant boost in power. I originally wanted an ITS so I'm just kinda curious if it feels any different.
I've seen a few people say that the ITS has noticeably better midrange power. I'd definitely like to do some engine tuning down the road but have no experience with it. I promised myself that I'd keep the car stock until it's paid off, but in 2-3 years, I'd definitely like to talk to you about...
I bought some rally armor flaps but haven't decided whether I want to install them or not. I was wondering if you have any mesh inserts in the fender vents along with the rally armor flaps. Do they interfere with the installation of the flaps?
Eastern NC is the place to buy an FL5 apparently. I work for Hendrick and tried to get one from Reggie Jackson Honda (Hendrick owned) but they wanted 52k and wouldn't even hook up an employee. I ended up buying mine from Hubert Vester in Wilson for a tad over MSRP.
I've been on the waitlist for an Integra type S since last July and planned to get one sometime between April and August. Dealer was selling at MSRP and the wait gave me some time to get my finances in order. My favorite car of all time is a 2000 GS-R and when I saw the Type S coming out I knew...
