I have it in individual with steering and suspension set to comfort and engine in +R…I’ve tried putting everything in comfort and feels mostly the same with a subtle vibration in the steering wheel on initial takeoff from a dead stop
that’s interesting to hear cause I feel the exact opposite...
Yeah it’s hard to explain cause I’ve never felt it before lol. It’s just this subtle vibration in the steering wheel while letting out the clutch in first. Honestly feels like engine vibration being transferred into the steering wheel at very low rpm that smooths out once the clutch is all the...
What CW and almost got one but dealer was being way to greedy so I backed out. Ended up falling in love with BB when I saw it in person so that’s what I got!
Quick question for everyone on the FL5. This is my first K20 and I’ve read countless threads about how this engine isn’t the smoothest. I’m also aware that there are no balance shafts and this was an intentional move by Honda.
I feel the vibration going through the rev range that everyone...
I’m 35 (36 next month) and just bought a Type R. Love it and plan on keeping it a long time. Proud owner of a 2002 S2000 as well which is a forever car for me.
Having my seat repaired under warranty as soon as parts come in according to my dealer.
Seeing all the stories on here about people having seats/plastics scratched and damaged is worrying though.
I’ll ask my service advisor tomorrow but has anyone removed the seat themselves and just brought...
alright cool. Yeah car definitely does not sound like that inside the cabin. I can just hear that audible buzzing if I don’t have any music on and it was interesting. Even with music at a low volume it’ll down out that sound so it’s not concerning to me.
Stock for stock..IMO of course…the Type R handles better and feels more like it’s on rails..more precise and feels like a stiffer chassis. My S2k is on coilovers with wider wheels and tires though (Like most s2000’s nowadays I suppose lol). How the S2k currently sits I would say it’s pretty...
Proud new owner of a 23’ BB Type R as of a couple weeks ago! Love the car. It compliments my Sebring silver 02’ S2000 nicely! Been a childhood dream to own two of Honda’s best. Would love to add an early 2000’s NSX to add the trio…maybe one day.
So I actually don’t hear that wastegate rattle sound on my car..yet lol…one noise I hear on the OP’s video is a noticeable buzzing as he accelerates. The buzzing then goes away the second he lets off the gas. Immediately comes back as soon as he’s back on throttle.
ive heard this buzzing...
im pretty sure I just commented on one of your videos on YouTube asking the same thing lol! Anyway, I appreciate the video whenever you can make it. If the process is the same as bleeding the s2000 (or any other normal car with separate brake and clutch reservoirs) I can definitely tackle it...
What’s up everyone!
Just joined the forum. Proud owner of a Boost Blue FL5 Type R. Been learning as much as I can about this car and enjoying every minute with it!
Looking for a how-to video or instructional guide on how-to bleed the brake/clutch fluid without a power bleeder? I have a 2002...
