Oh man, what happened to make you have to pull out?
  3. CSF Dual Oil Cooler Kit for FL5

I'm no expert, but from an ease of installation perspective, the WOT cooler is much much much better. Im also not a big fan of changing your oil weight being the solution to the oil pressure problem. It seems like a lot of the engineering done here wasn't intelligent and was just looking to...
  4. Order some wheels Fl5

Oh nice, they look kinda like the OEM forged wheels! What's the weight?
  5. How do you deal with salt on your car in the winter

Oooo, I'll try that! Does it mention anything about reacting with undercoat? Don't see anything on the page
  6. How do you deal with salt on your car in the winter

I'm not leaving the house till Wednesday, the snow can be bad, but it brings out even worse drivers, especially anyone over the age of 65 in a crossover that they swear the AWD will save them
  7. How do you deal with salt on your car in the winter

So you think the ppf would crack under those conditions? Or some rubber seal flash freezing? Id rather not risk it if I don't have to lol Also jesus christ, that sounds terrible! I used to love the winter and cold until I got into cars and now I hate it haha
  8. How do you deal with salt on your car in the winter

I figured as long as there's no water on the salt, that it'll be fine. Salt isn't bad unless it's mixed with water.
  9. How do you deal with salt on your car in the winter

Yeah, the high for today was 7F, low is -3 and that's the warmest it'll be till Wednesday.
  10. How do you deal with salt on your car in the winter

The touchleas wash is actually like 2 minutes from my house, but it's so cold outside that I'm worried it'll flash freeze and break seals and make my ppf crack 😅
  11. How do you deal with salt on your car in the winter

My end goal is to get a beater by next winter, but yeah I get what you mean. I remember someone mentioning to me once that 2-3 years in the north with a car is like 5-6 in southern states.
  12. How do you deal with salt on your car in the winter

Currently going through the first winter with my type R and I've had a tough time navigating it. I had done two layers of undercoating on the car with some canned fluid film (about 7 cans used total). Made sure to get every nook and cranny that I possible could with the car on the lift, then...
  13. Less (weight) is more.

Which brand did you get? Anti gravity?
  14. Less (weight) is more.

So would something like a lighter battery be a bad idea if you're not cutting weight from the rear (regardless of being between the front axles)?
  15. Rev Match On or Off

Not the AI response! Next you'll be asked for a 4 page dissertation on what rev matching is and how it works!
  16. Which Aftermarket Exhaust Do You Have?

Looks like they require some trimming to the underside plastic near what looks like a resonator, as well as no valve from the one I saw. Do you know if there's one that's valved?
  17. Which Aftermarket Exhaust Do You Have?

Hmmm, I wonder why it's so cheap? Is tomei a reputable brand? Edit: just read the reviews, apparently poor quality
  18. Which Aftermarket Exhaust Do You Have?

I think it might be better to say that I want a titanium exhaust thats identical to stock with the weight savings and a price that reflects that (since I've read here that the stock exhaust isn't really a restriction). Nothing like $8k, but 3-6k varying on quality I think is a fair price.
  19. The best bang for the buck!!

It just doesn't make sense to me on how you're saving money by using it. If the plan is ever to get a tune, then that's $329 down the drain. If not, then it's $329 down the drain 🫣
  20. Less (weight) is more.

Losing a few pounds could net you a lotta weight 😂
