Noticed the same, but I'm happy its smoothing out. However, mine is just related to the fact that it's getting warmer. In the cold there's a lot more feel as it moves through the paces and that feeling is completely gone now that my area is in well into the 80's.
I sold my S2000 years ago and only rarely have any regrets. It was a great car for its era, and certainly still one of the best looking cars ever, but I'll take modern vehicles any day.
Is the Type R a direct replacement? Not a chance, but it's an awesome option for someone looking for a fun...
I'm assuming you've never driven the FL5 if you thinks unbearable. I also think a lot of the "it's too stiff" is overblown. I wouldn't even have noticed if it wasn't for all the complaining on this forum.
Or option 4 just "its fine". No intention of changing and will almost certainly never be on a track. If it wasn't for all the talk about stiffness here and everywhere else I probably wouldn't have ever even thought about changing it out.
Same here. My 2000 S2000 was smooth as glass. Not a single vibration, squeak, or rattle in the >7 years I owned it. Sadly my dumbass sold it well before the values got crazy.. $16k in 2016 for a 2000 with only 43k mile on it... ?
It's just over 26ft deep which is pretty unusual. (Rest isn't nearly as nice.) The original owner was a brick layer and built the house himself to his own specs. I inherited a tall/deep garage and a ton of oddities that resulted from a bricklayer thinking he's also an architect, electrician and...
If you've got 10'3 ceiling height you can get a lift in. I felt that Race ramps were too expensive for ramps and honestly the lift didn't cost nearly as much as I had expected. (way less than a lot of ADM's ;))
I get it occasionally. Sounds like its coming from center near the light, but I can't really isolate it to confirm. However, as I've put more miles on the car it seems like its happening less frequently.
Same here, best part was ~8lb weight difference over stock wheels. I weighed all 8 wheels as I swapped and was shocked how much lighter this combo was over stock. No complaints whatsoever!
She's definitely a keeper. When I told her I was buying a lift for the garage to add more parking space her only comment was that we should also do a polyaspartic floor to take it up a notch. I'm not letting her get away!
This is me to the tee. I tend to buy 3-4 cars a year. In some years 5-6 cars. I get bored quick and sell them. Last year I bought the same car twice just in a different color. lol I keep telling my GF this is the one, but its always just the one for now.
Problem solved with an infotainment system reset following the procedure below:
1 Hold home+power+previous
2 Tap detailed information and settings
3 Hold back+power+previous
4 Tap system reboot
Hopefully it was just a hiccup related to the extreme cold we've been experiencing and that this...
Anyone have any issues with their infotainment screen going almost black, losing the steering wheel volume control and navigation going blank? Going to be making an appointment for service, but wanted to see if others have had the same issue. Car is 2024 with only 650 miles... Not off to a great...
I had the same response. "Cameron handles all Type R sales. If he approves you, he'll be in touch". That was before xmas. Ended up buying in Cinci and to this day even as a cash buyer never heard a word back from this "Cameron".
I like that its been there for at least a month with no takers and they're still trying to get 10k markup. Also kind of humorous that now they're "willing to work on price" but on 12/26 when I bought mine about 12 miles away they were still firm at 10k. I truly hope the dealers trying to gouge...
