Totally understand. I was installing a new clutch at the same time, otherwise the suspension would have been awful to do alone. I at least have quick jacks so it's better than just jack stands.
That's really good. I did the spring install myself, so that's why I couldn't comment on that. Wish there was someplace to rent alignment rack time so I could have done it properly myself.
Can't comment on the spring install cost, but my alignment after was almost $300 and aside from trash talking me and the car, they didn't even do it correctly. Hope you have a better experience than I did.
What's the sound level like on the highway? That's what I have dying to find out from anyone that has one. Especially if you can describe the sound at 3k rpm in 6th (about 80mph). Interior video would be incredible to have.
I removed my touring because the drone was unbearable and awe told me there was no drone and I obviously installed it incorrectly. i sent them interior videos of me driving at 4am on a dead road with both drone and no drone and they told me the videos were not good enough and any issues are...
I have the Apexi and my only complaint is it can be loud on the highway if you have the valve open. But it's not droning. I previously had the AWE Touring and it had awful drone and worse support. I really want to experience the Fujitsubo. I've heard it's super quiet on the highway until you get...
Can't help on shops, but make sure you follow the instructions to a T. And definitely get a crows foot for the fuel pipe. It will make life a lot easier.
I'm running them. It greatly improves the ride quality over stock. And I personally like the drop. It looks like more than 0.7" but I measured and did in fact only drop 0.7".
Well I had just under 4000 miles on the car with the stock clutch. And I currently make 456ft-lbs of torque. And I've been at that power level for 2500 miles. The clutch still had life left but you could see on the pressure plate it was starting to slip. While I could have kept driving on it, I...
I think the ACT is still a solid choice. I have used ACT on every high HP car I have owned, except this one. Never had any issues with them. Hopefully I don't end up regretting my decision this time.
So I have gone on a few drives so far and really the stage 1 feels like stock to me. I don't notice any extra pedal effort. If there is any, it's so minor that I can't tell.
Engagement feels like stock and as far as I can tell it's not slipping anymore. I'm not beating on the car or even doing...
