On the contrary I actually really like the design approach of this compared to the Sedan. Sure it might look a little to close to the Sedan but it has this nice flow to the rear trunk. Also I really like that bottom Diffuser. It looks good for whatever this trim is. Of course I believe the one...
Yeah that was funny I feel like Honda/Acura are doing that on purpose but the average joe won’t notice it.
Yes the Pilot looks so much better with this ruggedness Going on it. Finally embodies what Honda want to do in that department. Expect a HPD model as well for all the new SUV’s.
funny the Pilot just got spotted testing for the first time today. https://www.autoblog.com/2021/03/03/honda-pilot-spy-photos-ridgeline-fascia-mdx-platform/
Reason why they would reveal the hatchback first in Japan is simple. Japan is no longer selling the Sedan counter part of the Civic. If you think about it, hatchback’s actually sell well in Japan rather then Sedans. Heck even one of Toyota’s longest nameplates in Japan is literally being turned...
Well isn’t the 11th Civic Sedan platform a retooled version of the current one? If the Civic hatchback is going to have a separate platform compared to the Sedan then that means the Hatchback will still continue to be the more sport oriented model. Also Acura would be using the hatchback...
That’s what I am thinking as well. But interesting to note is the prototype exhaust tips where oval where this is more of a trapezoid like finish idk if that’s the current term.

Personally feel as though they did it because of how some people called it to boy racer. I also feel that in a way with Acura sedans being designed and tested in Japan...
These HQ photos make it look better but I think the one we saw in Japan showed more details of the vehicle then we see here. Also noticed that this one doesn’t have exhaust outlets like the Japanese model, this is probably a Diesel model for Europe or just a lower trim.
Personally if you want AWD just wait for the ILX replacement. Supposedly that’s getting SH-AWD which is a great system. Plus Type S model is already confirmed.
