I can confirm that. I figured a one-step would have been good, but I ended up using something more aggressive first.

I was out of eraser, but I did have 70% alcohol in a spray bottle. I tried Goo Gone after realizing I was out of Eraser and it didn't do much. The alcohol did the trick quite easily!

How did you get that sticky stuff off? I have remnants of it in a handful of places. Some of it comes off like very fine/thin plastic, but others you almost have to pick at it. In thinking of Goo-Gone or a rubbing alcohol on a towel.
