You can pick up your new Corvette from the National Corvette Museum (across the street from the factory). It would be neat if you could do something similar with the Type R. Not sure how/where; maybe at their PMC center or work something out at the REALTIME museum.
Of course, you pay extra for...
The tires will be fine. They won't come apart as soon as they hit cold weather. They won't perform very well compared to their all-season and winter counterparts, but you won't have a blowout or an immediate crash because of it as some would make you fear. When dealers/shops order bunches of...
I think you MAY be the first confirmed East Coast person on this forum to take delivery. Congrats on the BB! Mine should be here soon and I can officially join the Boost Blue crew (that needs a new name; it sounds like a dance-off-movie team name).
Knowing this information, I'm going to be intolerable to my wife tonight. I'm sure it's possible mine is on a different train, but at least they're showing up in VA!

I used the Finder Tool in one of the threads in the forum (it's a few threads down) to find the colors I wanted, then contacted those dealers. I wanted SGP originally, but I also wanted to get a non-greyscale color. The only one I wasn't keen on was black, so I'm stoked either way.
Probably 12/18-12/22 like mine unless they are loaded at different times. I would think they would try to group them together, but I'm sure there are other things at play.
I've been getting multiple calls from a couple up there the past couple weeks as well. The upside is they're at least trying to sell me a Type R. One of the dealers keeps trying to sell me on an Si instead because of "the high interest and low volume" of the Type R and "it's close enough you...
The Cup 2's are supposed to be an option, but I didn't see it on the site (it might be available at the dealer). I'm chalking it up as not being readily available yet. I would not have optioned them anyway as I'm getting something else in that class of tire for the track. I'd still consider...
