Thanks for the feedback. I already have the Motul in hand so I will use that for my first flush then switch to the Castrol. Did 1 track event with the stock fluid late in the year (picked my car up in September) with no issues - it was misting all day so not very hard on the brakes. Plan on...
@PointByPatrol thinking of installing the HEL braided brake lines this winter. Was that process pretty straight forward? Any tips or items of note for this?
Agreed
I have not driven an Si so take this comment with a gain of salt...
I don't understand people steering the OP away from an Si. It gets amazing reviews as a driver's car and is by most considered to be one of the best, some say the best, enthusiast car under $30k. My brother has one as...
Meaning the tire needs to be installed from the back side. If so, does this create any challenges to a place like Discount Tire? Do you just need to let them know about the reverse mount? Does it potentially increase the chance for wheel damage because the wheel is being clamped from the...
As mentioned by UJX they won't deny suspension warranty for a tune but they most certainly can/will void your entire powertrain warranty even if you just have rev hang disabled.
This is very common in the VW/Audi world. Cars will get tagged as TD1, which is their internal designation for a car...
Any idea how close this color is to the Integra optional copper wheels? I have a boost blue as well and at some point will be getting a second set of wheels so I have a set for summer/track and a set for winter. I would like to stay with the stock 19" setup and have been looking at the Integra...
Doesn't sound like a myth.
"Your Honda engine was delivered with an oil that is specially formulated...." sounds exactly like it was filled with a special break in oil.
I think you guys are missing OP question. He is asking if anyone is running 2 sets of wheels but 3 sets of tires. Summer wheels with summer tires and second set of wheels that have track tires installed in the summer and winter tires installed in the winter. Anyone doing that?
Only...
We use Tekton at my work because they have a lifetime warranty. "No time limits, no receipts, and shipping on us." We have used the warranty once - fill a form out online and a new one shows up in a few days. Hard to beat that for the price. Plus it feels and operates like a quality tool.
This could be an unpopular take but the red stitching on the airbag part of the steering wheel is not good. To each his own I guess. Rest of the custom wheel is OK.
Alabama - a friend owns a business in Alabama and has purchased 10-12 cars from one dealership. He got their first FL5 for $2k over and I got their second one. I don't believe they have received their third one yet but based on what they told me when I picked mine up last month when they do...
I live in Kansas City and purchased my BB from a dealer in Alabama ($2,500 markup). Picked it up last month. I had purchased a Honda from both Tiffany Springs and Jay Wolfe in the past - did not matter to them. Good luck.
Acura dealer in Kansas City is selling an Integra Type S for sticker. In May they were asking 5k over and I told them I was not interested. I had a CTR on order as well and ended up with a BB last month for 2k over. Acura dealer emailed me this morning saying they were down to sticker plus...
