Last winter I was able to get it out for a bit every few weeks but this winter the temps have been too cold. You are correct that 6 weeks is too long - that is why I got the tender.
Hooked up the charger/tender yesterday. I have not started my car in about 6 weeks. I hooked it up at 5pm and it was still in charging mode when I checked it last at 9:30pm. At some point last night it switched from charging mode and was in maintenance mode at 5:30 this morning.
I purchased a NOCO Genius 1 battery charger/tender and there are two 12V settings: 12 Volt (wet cell, gel, enhanced flooded, maintenance free and calcium batteries) and 12 Volt AGM. I assume I need to set it to just 12V and not the AGM setting but thought it better to ask.
Thanks
Installed Intrgra Type S wheels. Stock CTR wheels now have RE71RS on them for autocross duty. I really like the color of the ITS wheels with Boost Blue verses the stock black.
I am looking at picking up a set of bronze ITS wheels for my 2nd set and want to know if the 90 degree valve stems from the stock FL5 wheels would work on them?
Also, does anyone happen to know that part number?
Thanks
FYI - most tire manufacturers (including Continental) recommend storing unmounted tires vertical - not horizontal or stacked horizontal. For mounted tires it is the exact opposite.
Fair point on the weight but I am not trying to qualify for Le Mans with these wheels - just be competitive at a local autocross. This is a pure out of thin air guess but on a 1 minute autocross run (ours are in the 50-55 sec range) the weight savings for the lighter wheels will amount to an...
Options are definitely limited with 19s. Along with the Cup2 and RT660 the Nankang Sportnex CR-S are also an option in the stock 265/30/19 size. These get positive reviews in any 200TW comparison test.
I am also heavily considering getting a set of 9.5 x 18 wheels and that significantly opens...
255s should have almost a 1/2" narrower tread width over the stock 265s.
I have been on the hunt for 200TW tires as well for the stock wheels. If you stick with the stock tire size you basically have only 1 option - Nankang CR-S (which get reviewed positively).
If you go to 265/35/19 you can...
