A while back someone, or some article, suggested the upgraded FMIC would make an excellent first mod. Coming from the WRX side of things I can remember more than a few people who made a large FMIC one of their first modifications and then went on to complain about increased lag. Hell, I bought...
Where I'm at in NJ corn fuel is hard to find. I like how my car feels with the TSP Stage 1 tune. I've run the Hondata +6, +9, and TSP Stage 1. I've also run the Ktuner 19.5/23 and TSP Stage 1. The Ktuner TSP Stage 1 has felt like the most enjoyable tune available to me.
With Finance, you're already buying the car. So that's a bit different. But I've traded in leased cars at different dealerships early before. Ultimately there is what the car is worth, and what is owed. Pretty cut and dried.
I believe the issue has to do with Apple not approving generic USB drivers. The odds of Hondata or Ktuner paying to have the USB driver certification......
Bootcamp works, mostly. I have to say this, from personal experience, my $500 Dell laptop works better than my $3000 Macbook Pro when it...
"Suitable for use with the factory intake or a QUALITY aftermarket intake that keep fuel trims in check such as the PRL Motorsports Cobra. Aftermarket downpipes are also fine. Mods such as this are expected to add power that is not accounted for in our dyno testing."

I miss my old WRX, but not enough to get another anytime soon. Back when it was mine it was good for 13's at 300whp with a vf34.
Now it's my brothers - he's running mid 11's on a stock EJ205 with an EFR7163 around 450whp.
Pretty sure those older DSM were MAP based and not MAF based. But let me know if I am mistaken.
Also it is important to specify the bov does not make the car run "a little rich". That would imply an AFR target around 10-11. A BOV on a MAF tuned motor will run pig rich every time you VTA...
At this point, being aware of this thread, if you install a BOV you deserve what you get.
If you cannot be bothered to read the whole thread I have a relevant link in my signature.
As counterpoint....I ran the +9 map for months, spun tires more than a few times. Still averaged 35-40mpg per tank. Zero clutch slip issues with over 15k miles. Now running TSP Stage 1 with Ktuner. It is a shame but Hondata just offers a less impressive product experience presently...

Nope, just cut over to Ktuner and have kept the Hondata in the box since. Part of me wants to hold on to it, but another part of me feels like I should just sell it.
should be 19 in normal and 24.5 in sport. I initially bought the TSP Stage 1 tune for Hondata but it was not quite hitting target boost. I sent in datalogs to have the calibration updated, but have since changed to Ktuner. Now seriously considering selling my Hondata.
What is the highest boost pressure which has been run with the 27Won turbo so far? Also has any testing been done on a stock Si with only the turbo swap(stock intake/dp/fp/cat)? If so, what was the resulting hp/tq? While I know that wouldn't be optimal it could make for a mean sleeper.
