Actually MoE (Motorsports Enthusiasts) does just this for their events at NJMP. You can pay for your own run group. Northeast 86Cup used to do it for their events with them.
It's 4000 for 10 Drivers, and then 377 for each additional driver.
If you are open to running NJMP Thunderbolt instead...
I'm sure it will work out great!
It'll be interesting to see how setups change with proper spec'd coils, like @BigBird mentioned. I can see where a RSB on Pedal Dance could be useful, but if you can use +R with coils and not worry about the bumpiness of the stock dampers, maybe a RSB won't be...
Cheap is honestly relative, but the Paragon kit isn't worth it anyway. I've yet to see any conclusive data that a Paragon BBK providing superior performance to to the OE Brembos with a Girodisc and high quality pad.
Your money is better spent equipping the stock calipers with proper pads and...
It even does this on stock power too :). You have to be SO specific with the throttle that it's not worth the brain cells. I can definitely see if it being absolutely useless once you have more power.
This is the way. I'm incredibly impressed with the new C1X compound. Comes pre-bedded as well. No judder, no fade. 182 laps, 30 Sessions/Heat Cycles across 8 days + ~ 1000 street miles, and I'd wager another day or two left, but I need to take some measurements here shortly.
R5's really don't...
Wish I could make it, but the next time I'm driving from WA to VA is because someone is forcing me to move back to VA against my will :p.
Maybe I can come co-drive with someone!
It's a torque vectoring system to maximize cornering. It's absolutely not catching you on a massive oversteer moment. AHA for the CTR is also specifically tuned for performance driving, and not the OTS Honda AHA solution.
What I keep trying to say is that AHA is NOT a safety system. It makes the car rotate and is designed to make the car faster.
It does not lead to issues in the braking system -- and I have the proven and consistent data to prove it.
You will eventually see more aggressive wear in the rear with VSA on, as it uses the rear brakes on its engagement.
If you run the car in +R with Long Hold (TC Off/VSA Off), all Pedal Dance is doing is disabling AHA, which helps the car rotate -- if anything, it induces more wheel spin and...
Please re-read -- I NEVER stated to use VSA, nor that it does not have an effect on the rear pads. I said AHA does not have the effect on the rear pads.
To quote:
"Melting rear pads in +R with TC Off + VSA Off is a Myth that needs to stop being pushed."
To recap:
1) +R with VSA OFF + TC OFF...
I use this: Amazon.com: Autel MaxiAP AP200 OBD2 Scanner Bluetooth Wireless OBDII Auto Diagnostic Tool with Full System Diagnostic, 19 Reset Functions, AutoVIN, Check Engine Light Code Reader for iPhone Android White&Gray : Automotive
It was 70 bucks and works perfectly every time. Super easy.
Melting rear pads in +R with TC Off + VSA Off is a Myth that needs to stop being pushed.
You do NOT need to do the pedal dance in +R to avoid melting rear pads. If you are running in Individual, entirely different story - and if so, you need to caveat that. If they are stock pads that are not...
Nothing iOS-based will be strong without an 10hz external GPS. You need to pair those with an external, or grab something like an AIM Solo 2, Garmin Catalyst, Racebox, Dragy, etc.
Not to be super rude -- but your data is going to be pretty useless.
You don't have the pace and consistency for it to be relevant, since there are too many factors at play. Your previous post claiming 8 seconds because of an alignment is ridiculous. You just drove better and more confidently...
TC/VSA Off via Long Hold fan here.
Pedal Dance absolutely unleashes additional power, but if you have any serious throttle commitment, it is going to turn into a lot of wasted wheel spin and a bunch of push. There's a very fine line where it will likely be faster, but it's very very fine, and...
Glad I was able to help you find the search bar. It's so we don't keep having the same conversations about the same basic things every day.
When you are ready to do more than parade lap pace at the track, we can have some more serious conversations about setup -- not what oil to use and what...
I'm not sending any links. Use the search functions.
This is a lot of over thinking to run a 1:58 at Laguna....just drive the car and stop overthinking it.
