I’m no lawyer, but I would assume that they would have to prove injury because of faulty placement or malfunction due to the change. I think somewhere on this forum, someone called their insurance provider and asked and they were told that there would be no issue regarding coverage if the back...
Not lecturing at all lol. I do the same thing and honestly I can’t come up with an issue. That’s why I posted on here to see if there was anything concretely unsafe about the set up. As for now, I don’t see it myself but I will definitely take it to the fire station and see what they say/think!
Looks gorgeous! Let us now what you think…also would love to get a review of it a few months from now letting us know if it hindered practicality…going over speed bumps or driveways. Excited for you!
You know…the fireplace thing is actually a great suggestion! As for the latch, I can easily switch it to the appropriate latch, that was never a problem, I just thought it was either or kind of thing.
As for safety, outside of it being out of the norm, I personally can’t see any obvious issue...
So…what are those hooks on the floor lol? ?. I’ll have to adjust a bit. It does wobble a little left and right because the middle is slightly higher than the left and right seats, I’ll have to put something to help. But I don’t think it should be a safety issue.
Today I put my kids front facing car seat in the middle. I used the latch system to secure it on the left and right side which was never an issue. However, the issue was always that the CTR does not have an overhead/top tether hook.
So….I bought a latch strap from Amazon. I hooked the latch...
On the topic of toddler seats. Does anyone know a child seat that is forward facing that can be placed in the center over the cup holders with either:
-Using only the LATCH system or...
-Using the LATCH system and a way to split the over-seat harness so it can attach to both hooks that are...
These look cool as heck! I love that I can get color matched championship white powder coated wheels! I wonder how close they would be to actual color.
Really? I thought the adaptive cruise on my civic ST was amazing, literally kept perfect center and did a good job adjusting speed. I haven’t had a chance to try it on the type R…I guess we shall see. I’ll be pretty sad if adaptive cruise sucks on it. When I had my civic ST, the cruise control...
I’m a dumbass and meant RDM. My RDM system on this is so much worse than it was in the civic ST. It isn’t a huge deal but just wanted to know if y’all have the same problem. Honestly I like RDM because there are nights when I drive where I’m super sleepy (not that often but it does happen) and...
Huh that’s pretty interesting lol. I guess I’ll wait and see. I just like it for when I’m super drunk you know? Lol jk jk. But I like it as a safety feature.
