Late to the party but wanted to add an additional thought. When considering an alignment shop, look for one that (1) has a high-end alignment machine (e.g. Hunter HawkEye Elite) and (2) will let you sit in the driver's seat to ballast weight while the alignment is being performed.
Curious...Any additional end user experiences to report? I was going to ask in the other HPT Microtube thread but noticed that it is "Not open to further replies."
I've had the Hybrid Racing shifter installed for about a year now. After installation, I noticed the same when initially trying to shift into 5th gear. My thoughts at the time were that muscle memory was accustomed to the slop in the stock shifter. After a short drive, it was quick to...
Yesterday, I bought a new 2026 Passport TSE (built date in 01/2026) to add to the garage. It is powered by the new Google/Android head unit and has a larger display. Responsiveness is very snappy as compared to the current CTR. I really like the updated interface even though it is running...
That is correct. I also bought a 2026 Pilot Elite Blackout for my wife that is in transit. When it arrives later this month, I'll trade in my F-150 for that one. Nothing but Honda's now except for the 1964 Impala SS that should be back on the road in the next year or two.
I understand that you are a reseller....My comment was directed to MST being the manufacturer of the intake itself. It is good to hear that MST is responsive to address any design issues. On that note, I would be pissed having spent money on an upgraded intake only to later learn that the...
No offense but if a company is investing time in delivering a new product to market, it should have already been engineered, tested and proven out of the gate. Were buyers made aware prior to purchase that they would be beta testers?
Looks like nothing has changed for the 2026 model year other than the price increase. I heard previous mention of a thicker paint being applied that would be less resistant to chipping. Curious if anyone has verified or if the thicker paint is something that will be added as part of the 2027...
That sounds like to problem right there. The OEM wheels are hub-centric. When switching to aftermarket wheels with a larger bore, you really need to run hub-centric rings. Otherwise the new wheels will be running lug-centric and would likely not be properly aligned after being installed.
Battery swap should not be a problem with triggering codes. Sounds like the existing battery was too depleted over time where other modules were not receiving the minimum expected voltage for communications.
Were you using the OEM battery or a lithium ion? How old was the battery?
I would agree...What should be standard is to use a wire brush and then clean the contact areas. After that, apply a thin film of copper anti-seize lubricant on the connection points before installing and torquing the lug nuts to spec.
Removal of unsprung weight is the golden ticket. After that...Consider weight reduction between the front and rear axles while maintaining the same weight distribution ratio as the car was designed to support. In the same token, be mindful of weight added or removed outside of the front and...
This should get you close to your goal without gutting.

Sweet...CW is traditional where I think it looks best in all light conditions. SGP is a great color as well but IMHO looks best in shady light conditions.
