The DSC makes the suspension act as more of an active setup, meaning that when you are cornering slowly and driving easy it is soft and compliant and the harder you push the car the more firm it becomes. It doesnt work like the factory ITS or CTR module, which are preset and passive.
You can...
I have run the DSC module on a few different applications (couple Vettes and a Porsche) and have had generally great results, they are a nice product. I will give it a try on the CTR for sure.
that says stock height and wheel, 285 no problem, and even +50 no problem.
lowered and on a +35 will probably rub, which I would agree with, +35 is too much even on a 265.
what was the offset and suspension set up for the cars experiencing rubbing? on a lowered car and lower offset (+40) I would think it would rub.
but, with an offset only 5-10mm lower than stock, it will compensate for 10mm wider tire (on each side of the wheel).
I am not making a suggestion...
It's a long thread and search didn't pull anything up of value so sorry if I missed this:
Has anyone fit 285/30R19x10+50 or +55
This wheel offset would push out 5-10mm (instead of the popular 20mm) and the tire would extend 10mm more on the inside and the outside for a total tire/wheel change...
modern ECMs are torque based meaning the fuel and airflow tables are calibrated and then a torque model is created based on airflow, spark, and fuel and limiters are put in place so that boost, spark, throttle, fuel mixture, and so on can be adjusted in real time to follow the model.
when you...
because pick a number. none of it matters and only a crazy person buys a brand new car and keeps it 100, 200, 300k miles. Do whatever you want, it's under warranty. I can't remember the last time I kept a car past 5k miles. At the very least, sell the car with 59,900 miles on it, it's time...
I have had 3 G8x cars including an M4CSL and none of them will help with your back pain. They are FL5's with leather on the interior panels. I like the way they look but they sound pretty bad. Overall, they are great cars but I don't think you'll get $50k incremental dollars worth of value or...
I think you mean spring rate. Damping is what the shocks do.
Damping - a decrease in the amplitude of an oscillation as a result of energy being drained from the system to overcome frictional or other resistive forces.
Dampening - making slightly wet.
