Of course, I just got an email saying:
"This part is not available from Honda as of yet. The tentative release date is 8/15/22. I can order this part for you but I will not receive it before that date and I can not guarantee when after that date I will have it."
I'm going with the "Temporary Kit" Part#06421-T38-A11 from Honda OEM Parts. They said it's coming from Greenway Honda in Florence, SC. My dealer looked it up and said it's backordered until 8-17, so I guess I'll see what happens with this order. I believe I still need to source a tire for it...
I looked up that part# and found a site selling the "Temporary Kit" but with part# -A11 superseding -A10. Illustration shows: Wheel, Valve Stem, Hold Down Bolt, Jack Handle, Lug Wrench, Foam Holder, (2 decal looking objects), Fuel Funnel, and Jack. Specifically says Tire Not Included. Asks for...
So yeah, I got to work this morning and said I better just go ahead and get it done. Fleabay special 10th Gen Wheel/tire with jack and wrench with free shipping. Had to do it. No foam holder. Piece of mind. This is nonsense! 6 hours! I was lucky to have the entire day after open.
Any reason the expect the 10th gen spare is different from ours? Decent looking one on fleabay. Also a jack and lug wrench in the foam holder on another seller.
It was a cut that was deemed unrepairable at the dealer. I didn't try the goo since I was at home and could wait for the tow.
Tow truck guy said the dealers charge $250 for a replacement tube. That accurate? I forget the price of the spare, but I think it was similar. But of course the spare...
Yeah, so I've posted before on my issues with getting flats on my '19 Sport Sedan 6MT and was concerned about a lack of spare on the US Si. Two months in, 2200+ miles I ran over something today that took out my tire. I heard it, and thought Oh no! I was a couple miles from home and when I parked...
I donāt know if the thermal properties of titanium differ greatly from aluminum, but I love my Ti factory optional S2000 knob! I got it 2 years ago for my ā19 Sport Sedan, and transferred it to the ā22 Si. It gets warm in the summer and cool in the winter, but quickly changes as A/C or heat take...
Totally, in my opinion. They donāt look cheesy and fully match the mirrors and trunk spoiler. Mixed results on whether they affect window roll down from the fob. Iām not fully sure the receiver is even in the handle. I had an instance today where the locks and lights were going, but windows...
Another last thing...LOL!!!
Heated mirrors are not luxury! That's safety! Just include them on all trims for crying out loud! My very un-luxurious work truck has heated mirrors because it's helpful!
One other thing! I had a 2001 Merc S Class and you could also push and hold the unlock to open the windows and sunroof. But on that, if you had the rear tilted open it would still lower and then fully open the glass. I wish the '22 Si would do that! You could also close everything by remote, but...
I only touch the parking brake button when I move the car to park and don't put on my seatbelt. With seatbelt on, it automatically engages (using brake hold) and disengages. I only move the car without the seatbelt after I stop at work by my work truck, then move the truck to park my car in the...
I think if you got this it would sit in the console and provide a usable storage space above the vent. I have it in my Si, without the rear vent of course, and it gives me 2 layers of storage in the small deep space. Honestly, I bought it without fully understanding what it does. It's a tray...
Got some black plastic door handle and shark fin covers. They match the mirrors and trunk spoiler great! Nice fit and finish. Did a few weeks ago: black "take off" factory lug nuts. Apparently there are cars that come with black lug nuts and people pay the dealer to change them out for chrome...
