The Cup 2 itself is a hybrid track / street tire, which is why most OE variants (including those optional on the FL5) are rated as a 240TW tire. It does not compare favorably to high-end 200 TW tires, either.
Even so, a couple seconds on a 2 minute lap is considered significant. So, this...
Would be interested in whether or not 295s are doable on stock suspension...
I picked up some 19x10.5et48, and I'm planning on 285/30R19, but would happily run 295/30R19 if I knew I wouldn't have issues.
Seems like camber gains are pretty similar to those achieved via pulling the pins (assuming Whiteline's reference point is stock alignment), but you get the benefit of the additional caster.
I think, in theory, is really a great option if you're running OEM suspension (or lowering springs).
Anyone running this? Any feedback? I'm considering it.

Obviously, it's subjective, but I actually find the +R / Sport+ throttle response on this car to be overly aggressive already. The car must be close to hitting 100% throttle input at ~40% throttle position with the commander, haha.
I believe I saw posts from Gruppem / Blitz owners who had idle issues post-install pre-tune. That's the only time I recall seeing reports like that (unless someone used a different sized MAF, like Cobb or PRL's race unit, and didn't get tuned for it).
No worries 😆 I do understand where you're coming from... A lot of design choices with this platform rub me the wrong way. (For example... why don't we get a baffled oil pan? Why don't we have multiport injection? Why does this motor route exhaust out the front?)
Sadly, it's not the fabled K20 😭...
They aren't tuning in "fake lag". The stock turbos on these cars are relatively small, so they hit peak torque around 3,000 rpm (this is mechanical, d/t turbine / compressor size). > 400 wtq below 4k rpm on these engines is risky (d/t load on the rods), so responsible tuners don't request more...
This one, right here, to start 🤣
If you do the math, you'll find the delta between the PRL intercooler (485 WHP) and the PWR intercooler (455) was also approx. 7%. This points to the HPT intercooler having similar performance re: power to the PRL but without the restrictions to cooling and...
... assuming 60 crank hp given 36 WHP? That's an aggressive estimate, especially in an FF.
Regardless, crank HP is irrelevant, as all the figures we're comparing here are WHP and the drivetrain is literally identical. A 36 WHP gain is 7% of the 511 WHP total output using the second IC and a...
It depends when / where you're calling for the torque. Early on, people were attempting to make big power on the stock turbo. Due to its small size, this also means making significant torque demands at low RPM, which puts a lot of stress on the connecting rods. A larger turbo won't make peak...
@APEXRaceParts can we get the SM-10RS in 18x10.5 et47? The VS-5RS is available in that size (and hugely popular for this platform). I'd love it if we could get the 10 spoke in the same spec!
This is through the Touring portal, though, and unlikely to reflect offerings for normal public / consumers, right?
I don't think we should be basing our expectations for offerings or pricing off that portal, or am I wrong?
