All cars are mass produced, as far as I'm concerned. If you say civic X is not "original," can you give an example of a car that's "original" ? Or, are you saying all cars are not "original"?
Even very rich people buy cars with exactly the same sheet metal shapes as their fellow extremely...
I'm just complaining about loose terminology. The opposite of "digital" is "analog" not "physical". The opposite of "physical" may be "virtual." Fake analog (digital displays looking like analog gauges) are also digital. Separate gauges like the fuel or temperature based on diodes and...
It's unremarkable. Honda was flooded with "overdone" comments mostly by car magazine types and people who don't buy civics anyway. So now they may get "bland" comments. It looks like anything out there.
Interior is probably OK.
One clearly good thing is that they allegedly pulled the A...
The most striking feature of these patent pictures in comparison to the X is the ever so tight gaps between the panels. They are at a luxury car level! Odd no one mentioned this. They must be getting all new more precise robots to assemble this. People who particularly appreciate narrow...
So what? This test car was not assembled on any assembly line that the final car would be, so its panel gaps are irrelevant. And the camo may cover parts of windows and lights. I don't even believe the BMW-like divided grille. It's just all duct tape, smoke and mirrors.
I want that screen as high up as it can be without being washed out by external light or obstructing the windshield. Maybe it being low and "built-in" looks pretty, but is impractical. So I much prefer the "slapped on" displays, as most cars will have.
I believe the eleventh is not coming soon. When it comes, even if nothing else changes much, the front grille will be different. Honda doesn’t have a signature front, so they take advantage of that to make generations look different.
No side markers? Pity, it was such a great cheap mod....
But I bet there will be more visible sheet metal shape difference for the 11th gen.
They keep promoting the fake news about Brexit having anything to do with Swindon, even though their own article, linked right there! confirms that it's...
The 2025 CAFE "in real-world terms" is 39 mpg. So today's Honda civic almost reaches it. CAFE numbers are not to be taken literally, they are a bit of propaganda fake science.
I'm linking the text below as a reference for the above number. Otherwise, it is quite worthless and not worth...
Yes, but the Insight is strictly a hybrid not an electric car because it has a tiny battery. It will also not keep up with a 1.5T civic. It will save you a little fuel money and that's about it.
"The setup provides a combined 151 horsepower, which motivates the Insight from zero to 60 mph in...
Clarity, either EV or PHEV, weighs over 1000 lbs more than my HB ST, while not having any more space inside, rather a bit less. That's over 1/3 more mass. That's 2020 Honda Pilot 2WD. :D Not exactly a swift car. My CR-V is lighter than the Clarity hybrid.
Even though the torque is sufficient...
This is not true The robots assembly (weld) body shells, also painting is done mostly by robots. Machining the engine is mostly automated. Still plenty of work for humans with assembly and quality control at every step.
But there is a huge role for people in the assembly. They don’t just take...
Can anyone explain why Honda can’t have a plant in the UK, unless the UK part of the EU, but can have plants in Canada, which has a little more than half the population? The price of hatchbacks in the US was about $500 more because they have to be floated over the Atlantic.
If Honda actually closes the Swindon plant as a sort of political retaliation against Britain, I will close my wallet for ever to Honda. I will buy a Chevy, which is, as we now know, much more reliable.:headbang:
Threats of economical boycott and tariffs to disobedient countries are the...
I asked myself and I didn't know the answer other than Honda/Acura didn't develop appropriate CVTs for these vehicles.
What I do know is that Nissan Maxima is a much more sporty and faster car than my civicx with a 300 hp and 261 lbft rated engine equipped with no other transmissions but a CVT...
