These trim are actually black plastic with some sort of glossy coating on it straight from the factory. The way I look at it, something was on the surface which ruined the coating hence you are seeing wrinkles, delamination etc.
The dot pattern is completely different so you still have to deal with it even if you have the headlights aligned the other way around on height because you can't change the dot patterns.
The LHD European headlights is the way to go if you really wanted it even though the cutoff pattern is...
That's the first thing I notice too, and they make the glossy trims in flat black too. Definitely toned down a lot on FL5.
I prefer the red fabric on door panel instead of the red carpet though. There's too much red at the bottom, it'd be great if it has red floor mats and red door insert...
Or have its own front bumper, but I guess that's the point of all automakers these days to have the same family look. Honda obviously is doing so well to bland out the 11th gen.

You can get the hatchback grill, which is basically the same thing unless you specifically wanted the one with Si Badge. I believe the Si grill will have an indentation for the Si badge (like the 10th gen) , or it could be the same if...
The hatchback and sedan have different grills, so they will have different part numbers. Even though the Si grill looks identical to the Hatchback, but it comes with mounting hole for the Si Badge so it's going to have different part numbers.
The bumper cover, however, is identical on all 3...
Agreed, going to basic isn't a bad thing. When I first saw the Si back in my early college days, it's stunning even though it's just a badge, a lip, a grille and a unique color specifically made in that trim.
I just found the diagram of the front bumper cover, so this means that anyone can swap the grill among the Hatchback, Si or sedan as long as you get the top piece as well.
