Probably a lot of variables, but in that video he’s straight up claiming that this Hideki Kakinuma designed the car to have a stuck back end and under steer. I’m sure the aftermarket will fix that if need be though.
Correct. I didn’t say chief engineer though. The Stig said the “project chief” or “large project leader for this car” likes understeer and it was evident. If that’s considered a chief engineer then I don’t have much to add. Just sharing the video and his feedback.
As far as I remember there isn’t an anti lag feature setup in ktuner that you just enable. You have to play with the parameters. It’s really not good for the engine anyway. If you have a cat i would highly advise against it
I chased this problem and spent a good chunk of money trying to get it sorted out. The fix is with the Wilwood master cylinder that spec sells. The downside is the pedal gets quite stiff. I would wait for exedy or get the retro fit. I do NOT recommended spec any longer
Hmm two step AND spec recommended that I take it out. PRL says so as well and has the write up. I’m going to try what the manufacturer of the clutch said first.
So do you just buy the part and said it to this guy and he modifies it and sends it back ?
I bought a spare si CMC that’s in my living room. I need to take out the delay valve and install it. I spend about 5 minutes a day trying to take out the C- clip. It’s like my daily devotional.
