So far I am planning to go with 2+.

I have an aftermarket DP, CAI, and plan to run TSP Stage 2 Flex fuel.
Should 2+ be fine for this?

I plan to get the Drop in W1 turbo in 2020.
Can 2+ handle the W1 or do I need to go ahead and go with 3+?
I would like to get the 2+ for the street friendly reasons but will get the 3+ if I absolutely need to.
I am about a month away from making this purchase.

Hi Josh,

2+ will be fine. We are about to install a 2+ with our built engine and GTX2860 Gen II turbo.

Happy to report no lockout with revised Spec stage 3 with aluminum flywheel and a fully adjusted pedal. Thanks @Two Step Performance I need tires now... Full boltons on E37 blend and your Stage 2 tune = 28lbs of boost lighting up tires even in third.

Ps: stock clutch line, slave and master. Straight stock setup

Note: I run Amsoil Synchromesh transmission fluid, a 500 gram Circuit hero shift knob and have a 27Won RMM.

No problem man! Just make sure whoever gets this to adjust your pedal at both points!
Did that make the clutch pedal higher than the brake pedal?

I have only heard of lockout in the steel flywheel. Anyone lockout on aluminum? I am on aluminum. I also have a 27Won Rmm and run Amsoil trans fluid

@Two Step Performance FYI, I think your link on post 1 needs updating. I was trying to get more info and it gives me a 404 on your website.

Looking to pull the trigger on Spec 2+/Steel. Are people still having problems with lockouts?

I chased this problem and spent a good chunk of money trying to get it sorted out. The fix is with the Wilwood master cylinder that spec sells. The downside is the pedal gets quite stiff. I would wait for exedy or get the retro fit. I do NOT recommended spec any longer
