More than likely the discrepancy in price is non negotiable dealer add ons. Like pro pack, etched vin number, or even added on warranties. I was recently in the market for a new civic, and all dealers (southern California) had add ons that were mandatory, just had to find the one that had...
When I bought my 10 gen si, it was shortly after they announced there wouldnāt be a 2021 model, so dealers took advantage, and most did mark upsā¦ what I did, I just googled Honda dealers in _____ <ā-insert your area here. Hit the contact us button, and send an email explaining what vehicle...
Thanks. Apologies for going off topic, but would you say oem si knob works better with CTR assembly? Or maybe even an acuity esco, or oem ctr? I plan on making the swap soon, I donāt want to take everything apart more than needed.
Did you have to pull the console apart to install the poco?
also, since you said you tried different setups in your CTR, any chance you tried the 20/21 assembly with a poco knob? Planning on swapping out to the 20/21 CTR assembly, not sure if the poco will sit too low.
With all that has been said, keep in mind, some dealerships are better than othersā¦. When I bought my ā20 si, it just so happened that it wasnāt long after the announcement that the x gen si wasnāt going to be made in ā21, I didnāt do this on purpose, just kinda happened that wayā¦. Anyway...
If Iām torn between 2 things, and truly canāt decide, I just go with the cheaper option.
I donāt know all the extras on either, but Iād assume the accord has more creature comforts standard.
I think Hondas in general hold their value well, civic might hold it a little better?
My initial thoughts, car looks too toned down (as does the whole 11 gen line). Iām not a fan of the basic spoiler coming from the 10 gen offering. I donāt think the car is ugly, and honestly, if I was in the market for an si, Iād definitely consider an 11 gen.
As far as performance, I doubt...
My personal opinion (which could change with full pics) is, color is super niceā¦ but that spoiler looks toned down and disappointing. Not sure if it was a rendering or not, but the spoiler on the modulo looked much nicer than this deck lid spoiler, that looks like it should be on a sport model...
So if this is indeed true, what would the projected production ratio be? The āregularā civics, itās more difficult/rare to come across a manual. Would it be the other way around to find an auto for the Si/R? Would it be 1:1?
To be honest, I donāt like the idea. #savethemanuals
