I mean, some people claim that an upgraded battery cable can affect the transmission…
  2. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

I also received a shipping confirmation, order placed 4/9. Looks like a couple of us will be updating this thread next week with our results.
  3. Reducing Under Hood and Intake Temperatures

Nothing because for my use case I don't monitor IAT's and it doesn't affect performance to a noticeable degree.
  4. Multiple issues after installing oil cooler, intercooler, and radiator

2847 is referring to the mileage, it can also be seen again where it states "A/C is blowing cold and operating as designed at this time." Read the codes and go from there, @Jester04 is one of the most knowledgable and helpful members here.
  5. FX3D rock guards

I would think any adhesive remover would do the job. @arcticdc5 these appear to be back in stock at the time of this post.
  6. Clear "protector(?)" in the back lower corner of rear doors?

I'm assuming it's the same as this thread: https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/film-on-rear-doors.52708/
  7. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

I placed an order with All Discount Parts on 4/9 and received an ETA of 5/8.
  8. First FL5 oil change mileage?

IMO I would echo what @Jester04 stated and do whatever makes you feel comfortable instead of delving into the minutaie of oil change intervals. As long as the fill level is correct with an oil that meets manufacturers specs and it's not sludge-city in there, you're good to go.
  9. What did you do to your FL5 today?

I got this combo and have an issue with the turn signals. I had my hazards on and was using the front turn signals in the side mirrors as a reference. After about ~2 minutes of having my hazards on, the LEDs went from a 50/50 on/off duty cycle to more like a 25/75, so it would have a longer...
  10. First FL5 oil change mileage?

I would ask what do you hope to gain? The oil life percentage is an algorithm or rough estimate based on driving conditions and does not perform any actual analysis on the oil itself.
  11. Catastrophic Engine Failure

    Well that's a hot-take I never expected.
  12. New motor oil with some major claims

I left the boutique oil train and my wallet thanks me.
  13. What is a good first mod?

Spend some time with the car and note what you feel that the car is lacking, and then research mods to address those concerns. I would recommend against modding just for the sake of changing something or because of a random suggestion.
  14. "The Search".. not what i expected.

Who wants to bet he'll spend at least $1.5k in mods within the first couple months of ownership?
  15. "The Search".. not what i expected.

That's what I did, paid extra for enclosed transport but it was delivered in the exact same condition as it left the dealership and delivered within a week.
  16. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

Appreciate you putting this in a table format, very easy to read.
  17. FL5 Best Hidden Mod

The lubricity of the electrons, got it.
  18. FL5 Best Hidden Mod

How does the gauge of a grounding wire affect the smoothness of a transmission? What's the logical thought process?
  19. FL5 Best Hidden Mod

Hitchen's razor suits this, "what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence."
  20. Honda’s Position Statement on Additives, Fluids, and Flushes

"Only a relatively small percentage of Honda owners routinely operate their vehicles under severe maintenance conditions which might necessitate more frequent changes than are typically recommended." Unfortunately people will still do the 3k mile (or arbitrary) OCI or go by oil color because...
