(Disclaimer: I'm a wheel/tire noob)
I've moved from FL to a state where winter is actually a thing, and I'm contemplating a set of 18s + matching tires on TireRack. However, I've also got my eyes on the FL5. No idea when my dealership's second allocation will happen - could be 1 or 6 or 12...
For total transparency, I think your "full break down" of the price should also include the MSRP of all the addons you haven't classified as "ADM" but are obviously way inflated in price. If you guys are gonna scam customers, you should at least scam honestly :)
If you go to Honda's website you can see the MSRP for a '22 Si is almost $10k under that, so it's clearly a scam for impatient buyers. You are unfortunately at a disadvantage by being completely isolated in the middle of the ocean; can't quite drive to another state to pick one up from a better...
OP, have you ever heard of baseless rumors? That's generally what you get when you ask a salesman (or anyone, really) about something no one outside of Honda knows.
First one I tried was B, and that was way too high for me. C seems to be just right. I haven't had a lot of dual pedal action since the install, but what little I've had is satisfying! Great product, @ACUITY!
Awesome! I'll definitely be getting one of these. Thanks in advance to @ACUITY and thank you for the video!
I'm not sure why they insist on the purple motif for something (presumably) specifically for Civics, but hey it's outta sight anyway.
I'm actually one of the only (probably the only) Si owners who wants the loose, longer throws of the regular Civics, which is why someone's pawning off the parts from his Sport to me :)
Hm... Do you happen to have any photos of the black one installed? I'm giving it some serious consideration.
Then again, I'm like a week away from buying the "sloppy" shifter assembly from the regular Civic 6MTs from one of our forum brethren. Having a knob more than 2x the weight might be too...
Is there any way to get this knob seated a little higher? I could see myself buying a black one (if I can get a red gate marker) if there were a way to not have the finished product looking so... stubby.
