Was installing some wheels and using open lugs, have noticed that 1 of the studs is a bit longer than the others on that wheel. 4 of then the open lug still has a couple of threads while this single one sits flush, anything to worry about?
Also I am going to be using apex wheels and on the front get almost 11 turns on the stud, back almost 12, this seems ok right? I did the same on the stock wheels and with stock lugs and got exactly the same turns so I am assuming I am probably ok here?

Thank you

Answering my own question here. Turns out that one of the wheels just had a machining issue around one of the holes that allowed the stud to go in more. Got a new wheel from them and looking good now

Apex wheels giving you lots of issues.
This was the only issue that was the wheels fault, the tires was the idiot installer (I should have just driven longer to go to the guys I like).
I will give apex a nod though, they stood by it and are replacing the wheel for free (well I had to buy one and when they get mine they will refund me), they are also paying for me to get the tire re mounted so thats nice and fair. They do have great customer service and I do appreciate that.

I am just glad I used open lugs because if I used closed ones I probably would have never known. Maybe was fine but who knows, we are talking about 3 threads this 1 lug went in more than the others.

Good to know they have good customer service. It’s nice that you found out by using open lug nuts. Personally, I don’t like them. I recently bought a set and it seems like there are more open lugs selection than closed.

I don't mind closed but to find the right size its a pain, I do not like them sticking out too much, I know its a look but its not my thing. The stock ones do look good though because they are the right size.
