Yup, It might be cancelled or the Prelude might take its place. But Honda executives already said the Prelude wouldn't be a sporty car. The Si will probably come back as a sporty hybrid variant next generation, but how Honda will implement an LSD into their hybrid drives is anyone's guess.
No, they had the Prelude and the Si at the same time for quite a while (in the past). The Si if kept will be a 4 door manual but I think the 12th gen with not be ICE nor the Type R. Preludes were always a step up and had Accord level of luxury.

Honda already stated the FL5 is the last ICE Type R and I am betting that the new Si will be a Hybrid with a manual transmission to meet new government standards.

I am honestly happy Honda & Toyota didn't jump on the EV wagon like other manufacturers and focused on Hybrids. They are just testing EV's with a GM platform with the ZDX and Prologue. So far both models are not selling well.
