I started a thread a little over a year ago to see if any of the digital clusters would work on the Si, but none of them would work without errors as every other model has options that the US Si does not. Well I became the guinea pig today to do the first test of whether the 25 Si cluster would work, now that we have a full digital option for the US Si. I'm here to tell you the swap works!

It took ordering 4 parts from the 25 Si, a trip to my local Honda service department, and 3 hours of labor, but it is fully functional AND you get a few new extras with the cluster. Below are the 4 parts you will need to order to make the swap work. I was told to beware that, once you do this swap, your OEM cluster will no longer work, and you will have to order a new OEM cluster and have it programmed back, if you decide to put it back to stock.

I'll also mention, if you're in AZ and getting this done, go see Armando Perez at Tempe Honda and he'll know what to do. He got this done for me and technician Ed Miranda did the work.

Great job for attempting the cluster swap.

I have a suggestion. You should demonstrate the shift light actually works when you are driving. Does it beep when you are close to the limiter? Do you have the ability to turn off the beep from the infotainment since there is no shift light in the USDM 22-24 Si?

Yes, you can turn the shift beep on and off in the infotainment settings.

Just ordered all parts for a total of under $700 shipping included been wanting to do this swap since i seen the full Digital cluster on the Canadian spec. Does a dealer have to do the work? i was thinking of doing this myself.

You have to have the dealer program and install the cluster in order to not have a mileage discrepancy. They have to use Honda software to program and transfer the info into the new cluster. You can probably save a bit of time and money by doing the buttons and harness yourself beforehand. I was not comfortable taking the wheel apart so I let the pros do it.

How much did the labor cost?

I work for the company so I got a deal. It was around 3 hours of labor so you'd have to check what the labor rate is where you go. If you know how to take the stuff apart yourself, just leave the cluster in there with everything else already taken out/replaced, and have them do the program and install to save as much as possible. Every store is going to be different. I have also been taking my Honda's to this store for around 20 years.
