Description: The OEM base bushings on most Hondas and Acuras are made from highly compliant rubber. Thanks to leverage, the small amount of compliance the rubber adds equates to a very noticable "spongy" feeling in the shift knob during shifts. This bushing kit replaces the OEM rubber bushings with rigid 6061-T651 aluminum making for a much more decisive shift, even with a stock shifter. As an added touch, the bushings are coated in a purple Type 2 anodized finished, laser etched, and paired with class 12.9 flat-head mounting bolts

Features:

  • Reduces compliance by replacing the OEM rubber bushings with solid aluminum
  • Includes (4) upper bushings, (4) lower bushings, and (4) class 12.9 M6 mounting bolts
  • Purple anodized finish
  • Laser etched acuity logos

I bought these about a month ago from K series. They shipped directly from Acuity and were in my mailbox within a day or two. I mainly bought this set because they were the least expensive option for base bushings delivered to my door, but upon arrival it was clear they were very well machined and that they are a high quality set of base bushings. I did not know anything about Acuity prior to this purchase but they have a true passion for this segment of the automotive market (shifting) and it shows through their great products. They work as advertised and removed the sponginess the OEM bushings give you.

TLDR: Great part, great pricing. Thanks K series.

They fit all the civics with a manual tranny. Even the Si.
Hmm okay. When I enter your site, I have the 2.0 LX manual saved and it gives a popup message saying the part is not compatible with the car. Good to know!

I'll keep the car stock for now. I never agreed with modding the car from day 1. I get that mods are an improvement on some level (usually trading comfort, reduced NVH, and money for better performance) but wouldn't you want to know what you're paying for?
